I am done Christmas shopping finally. Now I just have to finish wrapping everything and get some cleaning done. I have also already bought everything to make Christmas dinner. Aarons parents will be here Wed and we will have Christmas with them then they will be going back home that night. The four oldest kids will be going to my dads tonight so I can wrap and clean more and I will just have the two babies here.

RIP Caylee Marie Anthony

Caylee Anthony's remains were positively identified today. A press conference was held to realease the DNA results. That poor baby I will never ever know how a mother can murder her own child. America has grown to love this little girl. Now we all want justice served for her.

Taylor had an early Christmas. She recieved a package in the mail from her Grandma Randi. She was so excited and wants me to share what all she received so that her Grandma Randi can see her pictures of her opening her gifts so here they are.

So we had a day at the park where we took some pictures. They turned out pretty decent which is very hard to do. It's almost impossible to get five kids to still still at the same time while in a prk with swings, slides and other cool things. Anyhow here is the picture we decided to use as our Christmas card. It looks like this id Caylee Anthony found yesterday. The news reported that it was the same size and hair color as Caylee. Hoping the dna results come back quickly so everyone who loves and has come to love Caylee can get closure

Today the remains of a small female child where found less than a mile from the Anthony home. We are all hoping that this is finally Caylee and she can be laid to rest in a proper way. Caylee we are all praying for you.

Took Jake to the dr he has a sinus infection and ear infection. He also has reflux and is lactose intolerant, but he tipped the scale at 19lbs

I have already decided that my new years resolution for my blog is to blog everyday. I am not keeping up with it and I need to. Let me see if I can recap anything.

Last Tues my back started aching some, I figured I was starting to get a kidney infection or something. I went to bed that night and woke up Wed and it really wasnt hurting anymore. By that night it started aching pretty good so I took some tylenol and went to bed. I woke up at midnight in severe pain. I would have ratehr been in labor. I finally woke Aaron up at 2am and told him to take me to the ER. So we get dressed and go I get there and they hooked me up to and IV and gave me pain meds which helped alot right away, but didnt stop the pain. They did blood work, urine test, x-rays, and a cat scan. They found blood in my urine and said i could be just getting over a kidney infection, but the CAT scan showed my gallbladder was really inflamed. Just what I need to have my gallbladder taken out. I was told I need to schedule an appt for a ultrasound and it will need to be taken out. Well I didnt make that appt and not going to. I am not hurting that much now so hopefully it will stop. I just cant do it right now with Christmas coming and all that would mean a hospital stay and I hate the hospital.

Also Jake had a busted mouth a few weeks ago from pulling the kitchen chair over on him. He is fine now but had a nasty lip for about a week.

I have been very very busy shopping and trying to get everything in order for Christmas which is not easy with six kiddos. I have had my nephew most every day while my sister works. He is 7mo old so kinda like having twins when he is around. Two babies that are mobile and get into EVERYTHING makes for a very busy and tiring day.

What else do I need to add. Oh well Thanksgiving went great this year. Usually my grandmother cooks everything but the turkey and ham and my whole family goes over there between parents and kids its close to 45 people that eat there through out the day. This year she was were she couldnt cook anything but the dressing so I did everything but the ham (my aunt brought that). I tell you what after cooking for 3 days for that many people I was wore out and didnt even get to bed till 130am, BUT.......... I still managed to get up at 230 am and go out shopping for Black Friday. Me and my mom and my sister Amanda hit up many stores starting with JC Pennys at 4am. We finally got home about 5pm. I was exhausted and slept good that night. But I got several Christmas gifts for a very good price.

Jakes birthday party went good. He got lots of things. I still cant believe my baby is 1. I am hoping he starts walking soon, wait maybe not then he will be into more things lol. Tomorrow I have a dentist appt, I need a tooth pulled that has been bothering me. I hate the dentist.

What a fun day. Lexi woke up last night sick, so I had her home all day from school. I already had Jake an appt with the ped to have his ears checked, but they could not fit Lexi in at the same time. Jake has an ear infection. Lexi is fine now running and playing like normal.

Tonight I am going to the football game then after thatme and Aaron need to go get some things that he needs to go hunting with tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed he gets us a deer, I have been craving some good ole deer steak.

Tomorrow I will have to go early and get stuff I need for Jakes party and then come home and get ready for that.

So of course I am slacking. I need to start keeping up with this daily. Here are some updates.

Taylor had her appt and her new dr said that he didnt want to diagnose her with bipolar yet untill he sees her a couple of times. He has upped her concerta and added risperdal along with her night meds the remeron and clonodine. The new med is working ok and he also told me to giver her night meds to her around 5 instead of 7. That is working alot better cause I can actually ger her to wake up in the morning with out a big fight.

Jake turned 1!!!! Can you believe my baby is 1 already? His birthday was yesterday. We are having his birthday party Sat though. He went for his check up and shots today and he was 19lbs and 28 in long. Growing fast.

Aaron completed his hunting course so now he will be gone hunting this weekend. Joy oh joy.

ok I must run I will update more and try to keep this up daily.

So now we have a couple sick kids. Jake has pink eye and has a real bad croupy cough. Lexi is starting to get pink eye and she woke up coughing bad this morning. I have been trying to call the peds office all morning to get Jake in and they wont freaking answer the phone. Now they are at lunch and will have to wait till they get back to start calling again. UGH.

Anyway, wanted to share i took Jake to the high school football game the last 2 weeks and he loved it. He bounced and clapped and had a great time. He was passed out though before we got out of the parking lot. Way past his bedtime, but he had fun and slept most of the night. He will be going back with us again Friday.

Next up is Aarons birthday next week. I have no idea what to get him at all. We are planning on having a party for him. We will be going out to eat dinner probably, but not till that Sat night. Not sure yet. Guess I better get to planning.

Ansleigh is in the newspaper

A couple weeks ago Ansleigh volunteered with her Girl Scout troop to help out at The Race for the Cure, which is a walk for breast cancer. Here is a picture of her and some of the girls in her troop. Ansleigh is on the far right hand side. This picture was published in todays newspaper. She will be so happy when she gets home from school and sees it. She had no idea it was going to be in there and neither did I. I just happened to see it when I met Aaron for lunch and was looking at the newspaper and there it was.

9/11 We will never forget

Jake is sick. has been since Sat. Hes been running fever and having diareah and very cranky.

I am so tired. I need to get where I can sleep at night. Even after I get to bed I am awake for at least 2-3 hours afterwards. Not sure why I am not sleeping. I am so tired the next day you would think I would be able to sleep, but nope.

Yes as always it has taken forever for me to update. Jakes appt went the same we wnet in and the neuro wouldnt tell us anything. I am trying to get a referal to another neuro.

Lexis appt went great. She was released to eat anything. So now we are hoping she will start gaining her weight back. She is so happy that we went home and she got to eat pizza.

The first full week of school went okay. Its a pain trying to get the kids back in the routine of going to school. They went last week and ended up being out all this week cause of Hurricane Gustav. We have had some bad weather and flooding from the storm. Finally calming down some, but still no school for the whole week.

Gonna be a hectic week

My week will be busy. Tons to do this week.

Finally kids are back to school. They started last week. Ansleigh went to 5th, Taylor went to 2nd and Lexi started kindy. Ansleigh and Taylor are happy to be back with all their friends and Lexi was super excited to start kindy. This week is their first full week, they only went 3 days last week. I am hoping this week will go smooth, but I am sure it will be hectic trying to get them back into the swing of homework and studying.

Lexi also goes back to the surgeon today for her last(i think last) check up from her surgery. Hopefully she will be released to eat anything. She has done lost almost 10lbs from not being able to eat real food. She has been able to eat some pasta, but its mostly applesauce and pudding and popcicles and some tomato soup. I know she will be happy when she can eat food and cookies and chips and all her favorites.

Jake also goes back to the nuerologist tomorrow. I will be asking him to wean him off the phenobarb and see about trying something else. Also I am gonna ask him to do another EEG. We have only done one and that was back in Nov when Jake was only 3 weeks old. So I am hoping that he will do another since its been 8 months.

Tired

So I am back now. My computer screwed up for a few days, but now its back to running normally.
A few updates here.
Lexi is doing great. She is back to her oldself running and literally bouncing off the walls. She is still on a liquid diet with some pasta. She has lost almost 6lbs in 2 weeks, but I know she will probably gain that all back quickly once she starts eating normally. She goes back to the surgeon for her last follow up on Aug 25, so after that date she should be able to eat normally again. Righ now she is dancing in the middle of the floor with one of her cartoons. I think she is getting spoiled though eating all the icecream, jello and pudding she wants.

As for the other rugrats, they are all doing great. Ansleigh will be 10 on Friday and is planning a sleepover with 5 of her little friends so this should be fun to have a house of 10 and 11yo screeching little girls. Could I come to your house for the night? lol

I did forget to post that I did graduate school finally on July 17 with honors and as valedictorian. I am now officaially a medical assistant, now after the kids go back to school and Lexi is released then I can start my job search. I wonder how it will be going from being a sahm to a working mom after 10 years. It will be a change.

Lexi is home

Lexi is home from surgery. She only had to stay 1 night and came home late last night. She is doing pretty good. She is still in pain alot, but on 2 diff pain meds so staying comfortable. She is on a strict liquid diet for 2 weeks then we shall see what the dr says she can have after that. She was sick last night and puking, but so far none today so thats good. I am having a hard time trying to get her to drink anything, and she needs to so she doesnt get dehydrated. So I am watching her now for dehydration. I have bought her so many diff drinks so she can choose what she wants, hoping that will get her to drink something. I will keep you updated.

Finally

Finally done with all my classes at school. Now I just have to do my clinicals which i should only have about 36 hours left to do, since I have already done some of them. And then I graduate on July 17 at 7pm. Woot woot. I will be waiting till sometime in August to even try and find a job. Lexi is having her surgery on July 22 so I will have to be home with her for a few weeks. Once things are back to normal and the kids start school I will start my search.

My little man Nathan turned 3 today. Tonight we are taking him out to dinner then tomorrow is his party. Last night me and Nathan went to see Diego Live for his birthday. He really enjoyed it. I thought it was a cute show. Here are a few pics of him at Deigo.

Lexi surgery

So Lexi went back to the surgeon on Tuesday. She will have one of 2 different surgeries. She will either have a Pharyngeal flap or a pharyngealplasty. They will scope her right before surgery to see which one they will do. they were gonna scope her a few weeks before to see which one, but they decided instead of putting her under twice just to do the scope in the op before the surgery so they only put her under one time. So all this is scheduled for July 22. So give us good vibes it all goes good.

Been a busy few weeks. Lexi turned 5 last week. She is groing fast. We had her birthday party at the jungle gym and she had a blast. She had 15 friends show up and she made out good on gifts.
She had her 5 yr check up and weighs 36lbs. she got one shot which she did real well with. She laughed as the stuck the needle in her leg and said it tickled.

Jake went in for his 6mo check and shots. He is now 15lbs 11oz. He is in the 3rd percentile for height and 6th percentile for weight. He got 2 shots and goes back next week to get another shot.
He also went to the neuro again. I still do not like his neuro and I am finally getting a referral to another one in Shreveport and am now waiting on an appt. His seizures are pretty much under control and hes doing great in therapy.

Tomorrow is Lexi's last day of school. She has her graduation at 8:15am. Ansleigh's last day of school is Monday, she has her awards day that day. Then Taylor goes Tuesday for her awards day. I can't believe school is already over with. Now on to a summer full of kids lol

Been a while

Yeah yeah. I know I suck at keeping this blog. We of course as usual have been super busy. Ansleigh and Taylor have started softball again and we are at the ballpark 4 days a week.
The kids are all doing good. We think Jake's seizures are under control with meds now, but as they said I wont always tell if hes having them. He goes back to the neuro next week.

Last week Lexi managed to fall at walmart and split her head open. She had to be taken to the ER and instead of stitches they glued her back together lol. She's doing fine now. She says it hurts when she touches it, well duh then don't touch it.

Ok more later and I will try harder to blog everyday.

Just a quick update

Ahhh!!! I think I am gonna go crazy. I have had so much to do and not near enough time. Just here to update on kiddos real quick.

Ansleigh is doing good. She was sick last week with some type of stomach virus. I had to pick her up from school Friday sick, after only being there for 1 hour. I made her an appt and figured she had the flu since Nathan had it the week before. Nope she tested neg for the flu and was told it was probably the begining of a stomach virus. Poor girl puked all day. She couldnt even hold a sip of water or sprite down. She finally got better the next day. Ansleigh just got her report card and had straight A's again.

Taylor is doing good in school. She had all A's and B's on her report card. Taylor went and spent the day Sat. with my sister and that mad her happy. She hardly ever does anything outside of the house so she was excited.

Lexi is doing great in dance. She is also selling candy bars for school. We picked up 50 bars yesterday and in 4 hours they were all gone lol. I guess she will end os selling alot. Lexi has a dentist appt today. she wont be happy when we leave there.

Nathan is all boy. He runs every where he goes. Hardly ever walks. He climbs on everything. His favorite word is no. It doesnt matter what I say to him or ask him he says no.

Jake is doing real good. He starts OT this week. It was suppose to be last week, but his OT lady got his paper work late. I am hoping they can help him make progress. He goes on March 6 for his 4mo check and then on the 13 to the nuero again. I am hoping for answers soon.

Days are to short

The days are way to short. I have been wanting to blog more often, but by the end of the day I am so tired most of the time I don't think about it or I am just to worn out to even type. Jake is doing better. His seizures are under control for the most part. We go back to the nuero on the 13th of March. Jake also goes for his 4mo check and shots on the 6th. We do have some concerns that his development is a little behind. Which I do blame the phenobarb cause the meds makes him sleep ALOT!. He has smiled just a few times and each time just half a smile, no grin on both sides of the mouth, if that makes sense. He still has poor head control. And when he is placed on his tummy he cant even pick up his head at all, he just lays face buried into the blanket and screams. He has qualified for OT and will start that this week, so I am hoping that it will help some.

The other kids are doing ok. Nathan just got over the flu and I am hoping the others do not get it. The poor boy felt so bad. Aaron also had the flu and when a grown man gets sick you have one big whiney baby. He about drove me nuts. Next time he gets sick I am checking into a hotel or checking him into one.

I also need to ask prayers for a friend of mine. He 8yo son is very ill with lots of medical issues. He is not expected to make it more than a few days. They could use some major prayers.

baby Aiden Waller needs prayers

Aiden Waller is a 10 month old little boy from Georgia, who is a victim of child abuse. He has been fighting for his life at a hospital and his mother is in jail for it. Aiden had been taken from her once already for abuse when he was 4mo and had a black eye. The state then turned around and gave him back to her. Please read his story. I'm sleeeepy

So it's been a few days since I posted anything. I have been soo tired. This not sleeping much is starting to get to me. Jake is not feeling well, hes been congested. Ansleigh was home from school sick Thursday and Friday sick with a stomache bug or something. Aaron woke up Friday morning also sick. Just waiting to see whose next, and hopefully not me.
I took Lexi to the Mardi Gras parade Saturday. She was the only one that wanted to go. Ansleigh went with a friend and Taylor didn't want to go. She was scared of the loud noises. Lexi had a balst, it was her first year to go. She got a ton of beads and cups. I hate the cups. She caught at least 15 of them and most of them will be going in the trash soon.
I went yesterday and bought Jake some more sleepers since he has started growing some and needed some new ones. I also bought him some more little toys and the other kids also got some new p.j's. They now want me to go back and buy them a Hannah Montanna pj set, even Nathan lol, of course i am not buying my 2yo son Hannah Montana pjs.
I am starting class back today. I havent been since the day Jake was born. I had my class that morning then had him that night. It's time i went back. He's 12 weeks now. He has just had so many health problems that I havent wanted to leave him. I still don't, but I need to get back to class.

UGH

For the fisrt time Jake finally slept from 1am to 8am. The bad thing? I was up from 2am till 630am with a terrible migraine. I didnt have any of my meds either since I have not yet been back to the dr to have them filled since before I found out I was preg. I think I will be going back and asking for more axert just in case that happens again. i am hoping Jake will sleep that long again so I can sleep that long.

Today I went through and cleaned out the toy box and got rid of all the broken toys and all the happy meal toys. That only took me about 2 hours. I hate doing that, it seems like such a chore. Now I just need to go through all their books and get rid of the ones with pages torn out. Then I need to go through their clothes and get rid of all the ones that either don't fit or they don't wear anymore. Can you tell I am spring cleaning? Or in the mood to spring clean lol.



Tomorrow Lexi has a field trip to go and see the floats that will be in the mardi gras parade. After that she will go eat at Catfish Cabin for lunch. Then I will have to check her out cause she has an appointment in Shreveport to see a team of drs for her speech problem. We have been trying to pinpoint this for about 2 years now so hopefully these new drs will be able to help. Our ped has done refered her to several diff drs and they just refer us to other places so in other words we have been getting the run around for 2 years. We are finally getting somewhere though. After her appt. we may just stop by KMart since we no longer have one here. Oh and this will be the first time I will be away from Jake for that long of a time. My mom took off work so that she can stay home with the other 4 kids. I will go crazybeing away from jake for sooo long.

Tired

I'm here. I have been busy. This sleeping for 3-4 hours a night is starting to catch up with me. We went to the nuero on Thursday and still do not know anything, Glenwood gave me a copy of his mri on a cd to take with me to Dr. Pena and when he tried too look at it his comouter would not open it. So now I have to wait to the hospital to send his ped a report and the ped to send it to Dr. Pena. I am geting tired of waiting, I just want answers.
Jake is getting sick again. I just hope he gets over it quickly. On top of him not feeling well he has had colic soo bad. I feel so bad for him.

Been busy

I have been so busy I have not had time to update. Jakes mri came back and all Dr Bimle seen was that he had a double ear infection and fluid on his years. I am not sure how he got an ear infection while going through 6 rounds of antibitoics. We go back to the neuro on Thursday so maybe Dr Pena can tell us something.
Jake got his 2 mo shots yesterday. He of course did not like them at all. He ran fever most of the night from them. Today he has slept most of the day. The lil man is growing so fast. Yesterday he weighed in at 11lbs 10oz and was 21 3/4 inches long. He is still in newborn clothes, the 0-3mo fall off him still. He is still in newborn diapers the 1s are a tad to big still.
Ansleigh's best friend is moving in a few days back to cali, so she is upset. I told her we would get some envelopes and put her address and stamps on them to give to Kendal that way she could write to her.
Lexi is still her wild self. Always bouncing around with a smile on her face.
Taylor is doing good in school and Nathan well he's still being a typical 2yo boy.

Still here

We are still here in the hospital. Jake seems alot better. He has had 6 rounds of rocephin and has done breathing treatments every 4 hours. He had his MRI earlier today and we are waiting for results on that. As soon as those come back we will get to go home finally. I really hate waiting.

Here we are again sitting in the hospital. Jake has pneumonia now. He was started on antibiotics and he seems to be doing a little better today. Hes coughing up some of the junk in his lungs so thats a plus. Hes still not eating well, but I guess that is expected since he feels like crap. I am still waiting on the dr to come by today so if i find anything else out I will update again later.

Happy New Year

First I want to say HAPPY 2008!!!!!!
My new years was ok. I stayed up till midnight playing Clue with Aaron and my mom. Then they went to sleep and I came online. Nothing exciting. The pic is Jakes first pic in 2008.
Jake is sick again. Started out as a cough and it has gotten alot worse and he is so congested that he has a really hard time breathing especially when he sleeps and eats. So I took him to the dr first thing yesterday morning and they tested him for RSV that came back neg and they they did blood work and that came back with some questionable white blood cells so he goes back tomorrow to get rechecked. Which is a good thing cause he's getting worse. Hes sleeping alot and not hardly eating. Normally he eats 4oz every 2- 2 1/2 hours and now hes eating 2oz every 6 or so hours. His cough is just so horrible when he starts coughing he cant catch his breath. Hopefully they will give him something tomorrow to clear his congestion up. I just wish Jake would get well and stay well.
